Description
This Clause shall be interpreted as if it incorporated an over-riding qualification limiting the powers of the company such that any activity which would otherwise be permitted by the terms of the clause may be carried on only if that activity furthers a purpose which is regarded as charitable for the purpose of Section 505 of the Income and Corporation Taxes Act 1988 or any statutory amendment or re-enactment for the time being in force. Subject to that over-riding qualification, the objects of the Company are 'to further the education of the public in the geography, history, natural history and architecture of Aboyne and District (including the areas shown on the Location Plan being Figure 1 on the Aboyne Tourism and Economic Development Study which areas are indicative only and not exclusive) which area shall hereinafter be referred to as 'area of Benefit' and to secure the preservation, protection, development and improvement of features of historic or public interest in the area of benefit
