Description

(a) the objects of the Society shall consist only of charitable purposes for the public benefit to: (b) To advance community development by providing opportunities for active citizenship and volunteering through the shared ownership and running of Bridgend Farmhouse. (c) To advance education and training in the community by utilising the farmhouse site for various learning activities, particularly those that support engagement in the outdoors, local woodlands, sustainability, and environmental and place-based education. (e) To advance the arts, heritage and culture of the local area and on site. (f) To promote equality and diversity by providing accessible facilities and a diversity of activities. (g) To advance environmental protection, biodiversity and the enjoyment of the Craigmillar Castle park, and promote and enable sustainable development and living practices.
