Description
The Company's objects are to advance in life and support children and young people in the United Kingdom, in particular those who are in need or hardship or who are socially or economically deprived or who are at the risk of exclusion h m society or who may be in physical or mental danger, through the provision of support, advice, education and training and challenging activities, to enable them to participate in society as independent, mature and responsible individuals. For the purposes of this clause the term 'risk of exclusion from society' shall mean being excluded from society or parts of society as a result of one or more of the following factors. unemployment, financial hardship, age, ill health (physical or mental), substance abuse or dependency including alcohol and drugs, discrimination on the grounds of sex, race ethnic origin, religion, creed or sexuality, poor educational or skills attainment, relationship and family breakdown, poor housing (that is housing that does not meet basic habitable standards), or crime (either as a victim or as an offender rehabilitating into society).
