Description

A. The objects of the charity ('the Objects1') are the advancement of heritage and the advancement of education for the public benefit by the maintenance, repair, restoration and preservation of the buildings known as Old Penicuik House, Penicuik, Midlothian ('Old Penicuik House') and such other property as shall be conveyed to or leased by the Charity. B. The Charity will undertake the following particular activities:- (i) The protection and improvement of the amenities of Old Penicuik House and other property. (ii) Facilitating and encouraging access to and the study (including the promotion of training opportunities) and appreciation of Old Penicuik House and other property by the general public, alone or in cooperation with others.
