Description
The Charity's objects are to (1) To advance community development in the Bann Maine West Community Cluster are of Ahoghill, Cloney, Cullybackey, Galgorm, Gracehill, Grange, Hillstown, Portglenone and Tullygarley and in particular the promotion of the community and voluntary sector for the benefit of the public by:- (a) providing support services, information, training, facilities and amenities; (b) creating and supporting initiatives, developing projects and organising events that strengthen the community and voluntary sector; (c) promoting community capacity building; (d) promoting good practice among community and voluntary groups; (e) encouraging such groups to co-operate to achieve their aims. (2) To provide and maintain a Forum where member organisations can join together to find mutual support, exchange views, share common issues and information , create a collective voice and work in partnership with statutory agencies and authorities. (3) To promote good community relations, religious and racial harmony and equality and diversity.
