Description
The objects of the CIO are: The advancement of education in young people attending schools and higher education colleges, primarily but not exclusively in the UK and in particular: a) establishing and maintaining a network of respected , qualified, experienced and inspiring voluntary speakers willing to give talks to young people with a view to informing them of educational and vocational opportunities and encouraging and enabling them to take those opportunities. b) arranging, recording and disseminating lectures, conferences and seminars for young people in all media on academic, vocational, cultural and ethical subjects. and c) improving and expanding informed, confident and motivated career choices in young people by providing and facilitating links between them and employers and the useful and exciting exchange of information and experience between them.
