Description
1. The trustees shall hold and apply the sum of £1.00 paid by us to them and such other funds and assets, as may from time to time be comprised in Trust Property, in trust for the following purposes - With the advice and direction of the cardiac admissions team and the cardiac support team of the children/young people or the parents or guardians of a child/young person who has been diagnosed with a heart problem and is receiving treatment from the cardiac team based within The Royal Hospital for Sick Children Glasgow. The aim is to provide the relief of those in need by reason of age, ill health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage to fund a special wish that would make their hospital stay and their lives a little easier. Also, by providing recreational activities and short respite breaks for those families who have had a particularly difficult hospital stay to aid their overall mental and physical health. This will be at the discretion of the Trustees and the professional bodies named above.
