Description
(a) For the Public Benefit to promote civic responsibility by commemorating the Diamond Jubilee of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by promoting and/or facilitating celebratory events in the Angus Council Area during the Diamond Jubilee Year, which will be specifically aimed at involving the local population by way of informing them of the history of Queen Elizabeth II's reign and getting them involved in a series of events to enhance the general understanding of the Queen's role in UK society and encouraging people to become involved in such local events which are aimed to enhance a feeling of pride in the local community and their Queen by becoming involved in local events. This will aim to increase a sense of civic responsibility and pride in the local community's place in the Queen's whole realm, and increase public awareness of their heritage as UK citizens and subjects of Queen Elizabeth II. or (b) in implementing or assisting to implement any charitable purpose or charitable purposes which the Trustees in their uncontrolled discretion may from time to time by Minute resolve upon, with preference given to causes associated with the Queen's Diamond Jubilee in the Angus Council Area.
