The company's objects are:- (1) To relieve poverty, particularly among the residents of Castlemilk & CannmIDock and environs ('the Operating Area') (2) To relieve unemployment, particularly among residents of the Operating Area, for the public benefit in such ways as may be thought fit, including assistance to find employment (3) To advance education, particularly among residents of the Operating Area (4) To promote training, particularly among residents of the Operating Area, and with particular reference to skills which will assist the participants in obtaining paid employment (5) To help young people, particularly those resident in the Operating Area, to develop their physical, mental and spiritual capacities, such that they may grow to full maturity as individuals and as members of society (6) To relieve the needs of people (and particularly those resident in the Operating Area) who suffer from mental and/or physical disability, illness or impainnent or have particular needs by reason of old age or current or past drug, solvent and/or alcohol abuse, and their carers and families (7) To assist in the provision of housing within the Operating Area for people in necessitous circumstances (8) To provide, in the interests of social welfare, facilities for recreation and other leisure time activities available to the public at large within the Operating Area (9) To encourage, stimulate and support volunteering principally in the Operating Area (10) To preserve, restore and improve the environment in the Operating Area through the provision, maintenance anellor improvement of public open space and other public amenities and other environmental and townscape regeneration projects (but subject to appropriate safeguards to ensure that the public benefits so arising clearly outweighs any private benefit thereby conferred on private landowners maximum text reached, further full information can be obtained directly from the Charity
