Description
(1) To promote the health, social welfare and safety of the residents of the Greater Craigmillar area of Edinburgh ('the Operating Area'), and in particular vulnerable residents including (but riot limited to) elderly people, people with mobility problems and people with learning disabilitieS or special needs. (2) To relieve poverty among the residents of the Operating Area. (3) To advance education among the residents of the Operating Area, particularly in relation to matters which are relevant in the context of addressing any problems or difficulties of the nature referred to in paragraphs (1) and (2). (4) To promote and/or provide training in skills of all kinds, particularly such skills as will assist residents of the Operating Area in obtaining paid employment. (5) To promote, establish, operate and/or support other schemes of a charitable nature for the benefit of the community within the Operating Area.
