Description
The.aims of the Association are: a. to administer, promote and develop the Alford and Donside Heritage Exhibition (hereafter referred to as the 'Exhibition') at the Heritage Centre ( the former cattle mart ) Alford Aberdeenshire. b. to promote and encourage the permanent preservation and display of historic agricultural equipment and any other material relating to Donside and Scotlands North East. c. to collect and display books, drawings, films and photographs relating to the region's rural heritage. d. to arrange disp]Jays, demonstrations and rallies with a rural theme for the benifitof the public, to stimulate public interest in, and support for the preservation of Donside's rural heritage. e. to raise funds to assist in the development of the Exhibition and aquisition of exhibits for the Exhibition.
