Subject to the said over-riding qualification, the object for which the Company is established is to advance the education of the citizens of the United Kingdom in African culture through: 3.1 To support and assist the visual, literary and performing arts and crafts which have their origins in Africa and the Black diaspora (hereinafter referred to as Pan African Arts and Crafts) as reflected in the African, Caribbean, Black American and European Cultures. 3.2 To assist in the education of British Society on Pan African Arts and Crafts and to assist in the curriculum development of schools through the promotion and teaching of Pan African Arts and Crafts. 3.3 Providing and assisting in the provision of training opportunities for people of the U.K. with a view to teaching particular skills relating to Pan African Arts and Crafts. The Company shall have the following powers exercisable in the promotion of the foregoing objects: 3.4 To carry on business in the arts and entertainment industries with a view to furthering the objects of the Company. 3.5 To purchase, license, take on lease or in exchange, hire or otherwise acquire any property and rights which may be deemed useful for any of the purposes of the Company. 3.6 To improve, manage, exploit, develop, promote, turn to account, give in exchange and otherwise dispose of all or any part of the property and rights of the Company.
