Description
The aim of the CYP FIFE shall be to provide in the interests of social welfare, facilities for recreation or other leisure time occupation for young men and Women in Fife region so that their condition of life may be improved. For this purpose the CYP FIFE shall endeavor to provide for young people. (a) To assist the work of existing Associations in the youth movement, and to help in the formation of new clubs. (b) To promote co-operation between its constituent clubs, especially by means of Conference, Training courses, Activities, Competitions, Child Protection and Family Abuse in and outside the home and in any other manner that may arise in working with young people. (c) To stimulate interest in the work of young people in the CYP FIFE movement and in Fife Region. (d) To co-operate with other bodies, statutory and voluntary, interest in the welfare of young men and women, and to act as a link between its constituent clubs, local government and other public bodies and trusts. (e) To raise and administer funds for the furtherance of the objects of the CYP FIFE and to administer such money as may become available for the use of constituent clubs and hire of premises for seminars and competitions ect. (f) To assist those persons who have need of such facilities and for reason of their youth , age, infirmity or disablement, poverty or social and economic circumstances and ethnic origins and religion. (g) To take any further action that will further the object of the CYP FIFE.
