3.1 The Foundation's objects are:- (a) To advance the education of the public in the subjects of science and technology, to promote an understanding of such subjects and to promote an understanding of how such subjects relate to Society at large. (b) to develop programmes and events in relation to different aspects of science and technology in order to help satisfy the educational needs of young people.
