Description

The Charity's object ("Objects") are to promote the benefit of people with a physical and or learning or sensory disability attending Ardnashee Special School or Day Care Centres and their satellite units in the Western Health & Social Care Trust area (the area of benefit") and their families and carers ("the beneficiaries"" by the provision of health and well-being and the advancement of education, and in particular to: (a) foster, an atmosphere of mutual support and encouragement among the beneficiaries (b) provide and assist in the provision of facilities in the interests of social welfare for healthy recreation, sport, outings and other leisure time occupation. (c) provide family members and carers with respite facilities, advice, information and a signposting service; (d) raise awareness among the general public of the needs and experience of the beneficiaries
