Description
To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Randalstown, Co Antrim, and surrounding area (the area of benefit) without distinction of sex, race, ethnicity, political, religious or other opinion by associating the statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to: (1) advance community development by giving support to local community groups and charitable organisations to promote and implement their activities for the benefit and improvement of all within the area of benefit; (2) relieve those in need by reason of youth, age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage; (3) advance education and training; (4) provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants. (5) advance any other exclusively charitable purpose under the law of Northern Ireland as the trustees may decide.
