4 The organisation's purposes are: 4.1 to build and manage a bell tower, and its associated facilities, containing 8 small bells, hung for change ringing, the largest weighing not more than 60 kg and thereby to promote the ancient art of change ringing. 4.2 to build and/or manage any other facility for change ringing, including bell towers, as may from time to time become appropriate or necessary for the advancement or preservation of the ancient art. 4.3 to provide facilities in which to teach members of the general public who want to learn the skills of the ancient art of bell ringing so that they may participate in change ringing, and to do so by using the methods of the Association of Ringing Teachers (ART) as often as may be feasible, and, when possible, using qualified teachers belonging to the ART. 4.4 to provide facilities in which experienced bell ringers can practice the art of change ringing or teach others how to change ring. 4.5 to generally encourage, facilitate and support the ancient art of change ringing and to encourage and help in any appropriate way those people who take part in it or want to take part in it. 4.6 to educate the public in a systematic way about the heritage and value of the ancient art of change ringing and to demonstrate the skills of bell ringing as may be necessary to further the acquisition of such knowledge. 4.7 to make all the facilities controlled by the charity available in an organised way to any member of the public in order to further the aims and purposes of the charity. 4.8 to co-operate with any other organisation or person that can help in promoting the aims and purposes of the charity and/or the development of ringing skills. 4.9 to raise funds in any legal way to enable the charity to fulfil its aims and purposes.
