- The organisation's purposes are: 4.1 To relieve the poverty, loneliness, and isolation and generally promote the mental well-being of women from Central and Eastern European Minority, those affected by domestic abuse, those with a criminal conviction and ex-offenders, those who are socially excluded, and those with children aged 0-19 including children with additional support needs and disabilities all with a view to improve their condition of life and help them to integrate into society by: 4.1.1 providing advocacy, information and other forms of support for EEM women and their children 4.1.2 promoting understanding and awareness of the rights of women from Eastern European Minority in Scotland and their children 4.1.3 encouraging EEM women to involve themselves in all aspects of society and, in particular, in those decisions affecting themselves and their children, through co-operation with authorities and other agencies 4.1.4 raising awareness through advice and advocacy regarding the needs, disadvantages and isolation of the women from EEM to other voluntary and statutory services.
