Description
4 The organisation’s purposes are: 4.1 To advance the Christian faith in Scotland in such ways as the trustees see fit. 4.2 We want to educate young people of the damaging effects and addictiveness of pornography, and its links to sex trafficking. We also will provide links to other organisations where they can seek support and help with dealing these matters. 4.3 We want to support a generation of young people navigating the current culture with regards pressure (or perceived pressure) to be sexually active at a younger and younger age. We want to provide them with the information, facts and tools that will empower them to make positive relationship choices that will give them better futures. 4.4 We want to educate young people around the issue of consent and the law regards sexting and pornography use. We want young people to know that it is ok to say ‘no’ and feel confident and empowered when they use that word with regard their relationship choices. 4.5 We will also empower and equip youth workers across Scotland to explore these issues regarding sex and relationships with the young people they work with, either in a schools or youth group context. 4.6 We want to raise a Christian voice in this area, we want to speak up for God’s values, we don’t want to just change culture, we want to encourage and promote a completely new way of living that stems from a transforming relationship with God through Jesus. 4.7 We want to support young Christian men and women to seek holiness amongst an increasing sexualised culture. We want young people to know that the Bible provides us with a better way, a ‘sweeter song’ and has the best and perfect way to live in relationship with others. 4.8 We want to help young Christians see that relationships flourish best when we prefer the needs of others above our own, which we see so beautifully and perfectly demonstrated by Jesus Christ.
