Description
The organization is established for charitable purposes only and, in particular, the aims of XL are to help young people between the ages of 12 and 25 years in the Garioch region of Aberdeenshire: to further their education to advance the role of religious activities in their lives to advance their understanding of citizenship and community Education is seen in the broadest sense of physical, mental, social and spiritual education. Restricting our work to 12-25 year-olds will allow XL to offer support to young people as they transition from childhood into young adulthood and ensure that the support offered is appropriate to their age and stage of development. Our focus is especially on those young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, however caused, to help them to improve their life-chances and to achieve their full potential, develop their citizenship and help them recognize better the community of which they are a part
