Description
- The Trustees shall hold and apply the sum of £1 paid by us to them, and such other funds and assets as may from time to time be comprised in the Trust Property, in trust for the following purposes:- (a) To provide financial assistance to such pupils of Ayr Academy, 7 Fort Street, Ayr as the Trustees consider have shown ability and promise and who wish either to commence or continue a course of study or training or to engage in activities to further their personal development or skills. (b) Applications will be invited from pupils of the said Ayr Academy who require financial assistance to enable them (1) to commence or continue higher or further education or training. (2) to participate in educational travel or work experience in the UK or abroad. (3) to pursue their skill or interest in art, music, literature or any other field of study which the Trustees deem appropriate. or (4) to participate in any other activity which the Trustees deem appropriate. (c) The Trustees will make grants of financial assistance to such promising pupils in such sums, at such times and for such purposes as they in their sole discretion deem appropriate.
