Description

To advance the education of the public in Islamic religion, culture and history and to promote religious or racial harmony through the organisation every year, in August, during the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, a variety of talks, performances and artistic events to provide an exciting window onto the vibrancy of contemporary Muslim life and explore subjects of significance to the world of today. The Association will aim to promote good relations between communities within the Edinburgh and Lothian area, raise awareness of the society that we live in through work with Interfaith and charitable groups and promote awareness and understanding of Muslim faith and life among the festival-going public in Edinburgh.
