Description

4.1 The provision of recreational activities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended. These purposes may be achieved by, for example, our Coffee and Chat Club, Art Classes, Lending Library, Book Club, social events, networking, fundraising and awareness activities, classes/workshops, and our online social chat-room. 4.2 The relief of those in need by reason of age, ill health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage, by providing social, emotional, psychological and practical support and information services to those affected by eating disorders. This may be achieved by, for example, regular support group sessions, moderated support forum, support newsletters, eating disorder magazine (The Voice), access to Recovery Representatives, classes and workshops, advice, counselling, mentoring and befriending, support website, information website and our telephone information line.
