The organisation is established for charitable purposes only, and in particular, the purposes of advancement of both animal welfare and community education/awareness and the objects are: 4.1 to provide, or assist in the provision of a rescue, re-home and sanctuary facility for rabbits that are in need of care and attention due to sickness, maltreatment, abandonment or adverse circumstances where such provision is in the interests of their welfare and is made with the objective of improving the conditions of life for all rabbits that come within the organisation?s purview. It is understood that this process includes. 4.1.1 accommodation within the organisation?s shelter or the provision of off-site foster carers for rabbits until the organisation arranges re-homing. 4.1.2 to provide all necessary veterinary treatment for the rabbits in the organisation?s care, including vaccinations and neutering where deemed necessary. 4.1.3 to advance rabbit welfare to both rabbit owners and the general public through provision of community education via availability in social media, website and community outreach such as ?awareness events?, as regards the appropriate care, protection, treatment and security provision for rabbits. To liaise with and utilise the support of volunteer staff and veterinary schools veterinary organisations, veterinarians in this regard. 4.1.4 to assist other animal welfare organisations and animal providers through the provision of advice or emergency accommodation where deemed necessary. 4.1.5 to offer educational work-based places to able-bodied and disabled children and adults alike, where deemed appropriate, when invited by the shelter owner.
