3. The Company is established: (i) to advance the Christian religion particularly but not exclusively by: (a) recruiting, preparing and placing committed Christians who wish to give witness to Christ and to share their lives and professional skills in selected developing countries or in cross cultural situations. and (b) seeking out and building partnerships with local churches and communities, in selected churches overseas. (ii) to provide facilities in such manner as is now or hereafter deemed in law to be charitable for the education and training of persons engaged in or intending to engage in educational, medical, sociological or other charitable work in overseas countries. (iii) to provide support and encouragement, where possible, to Volunteer Missionaries (VMs) overseas and to those who have returned from overseas, particularly to those who engage in projects and programmes aimed at overcoming injustice and deprivation in their own countries.
