Description

(a) to relieve poverty of refugees, asylum seekers and migrants from sub-Saharan Africa and elsewhere particularly Kiswahili speaking communities who are resident or are intending to reside in the United Kingdom by providing such persons with free and confidential advice, assistance, representation, counselling, translating and interpreting services in such matters as asylum, immigration, money, debts, welfare benefits, housing, health, protection, training and employment. (b) for the protection and preservation of public health and the relief of sickness particularly amongst those members of the public who are Kiswahili speaking people. (c) for the advancement of the public education, in particular the education of those members of the public who are Kiswahili speaking people. and (d) for the public benefit of persons in the United Kingdom and abroad, particularly for the benefit of those members of the public who are Kiswahili speaking people, through the provision and assisting in the provision of facilities for recreation and leisure time occupation in the interest of social welfare and with improving the conditions of life of those persons for whom the facilities are provided.
