To promote the benefits of the residents of the Wallacetoun, Newton on Ayr and Newton Green areas of Ayr and their environs without the distinction of sex, political opinion or creed, by association with statutory authorities voluntary organisations and individuals in a common effort to advance the citizenship and community development training for work and educational needs of the people of Wallacetoun, Newton on Ayr and Newton Green through the provision of facilities for recreation and training and the organisation and development of recreational and training facilities and events with the purpose of improving the conditions of life for members of the community through the provision, maintenance and repair of a community building or buildings.
