Description
Subject to Purpose THREE, the Trustees shall pay or apply the income of the Trust Fund and shall have power in their discretion at any time or times to pay or apply the whole or any part or parts of the capital thereof for the following purposes:- (a) The prevention or relief of poverty. (b) The advancement of education. (c) The advancement of religion. (d) The advancement of health. (e) The saving of lives. (f) The advancement of citizenship or community development. (g) The promotion of religious or racial harmony. (h) The promotion of equality and diversity. (i) The advancement of environmental protection or improvement. (j) The relief of those in need by reason of age, ill health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage. (k) Any other purpose that may reasonably be regarded as analogous to any of the preceding purposes. and (I) Any such other purposes that are charitable under section 7 of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005, which is also regarded as a charitable purpose in relation to section 505 of the Income and Corporation Taxes Act 1988 or any Act amending or replacing the same.
