The company has been formed to promote any charitable purpose for the benefit of persons who have a learning disability mainly in Caithness and particularly a) to provide or assist in the provision of facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation or other leisure time occupation of persons with learning disabilities with the object of improving their conditions of life b) to promote the education and training of those persons who through their social and economic circumstances are in need and unable to gain employment by promoting and supporting schemes where they may receive training for employment and develop enterprise initiatives c) the provision of education, training and re-training in the skills required for employment and self employment, d) to relieve poverty among the unemployed and the prevention of unemployment amongst such persons by schemes, vocational training initiatives and workshop facilities in order that such persons can play an active role in the economic and social regeneration of their communities e) to work in partnership with statutory authorities, voluntary and other community organisations in a common effort to advance education, relieve poverty and sickness and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and other leisure-time occupation
