Description

a) To advance citizenship amongst residents of the Hillfoots villages of Clackmannanshire through voluntary activity in relation to education, social welfare, healthcare or other practical work in the townships of South Africa with particular reference to the alleviation of suffering caused by AIDS amongst victims of the AIDS virus and their families. b) To advance education through the promotion of practical and educational links between individuals in the Hillfoots villages of Clackmannanshire (Menstrie, Alva, Tillicoultry, Dollar, Muckhart and Yetts 0' Muckhart) and individuals in the townships of South Africa. c) To advance the health of those individuals living in the townships of South Africa through the provision of medical equipment and information, support and advice in relation to palliative healthcare. d) To encourage local individuals from the Hillfoots villages to form links with volunteers and others in South Africa. e) To publicise the aims of The Trust in order to foster interest and financial support. f) To distribute funds in accordance with the objects with the discretion of the Office Bearers.
