4.1 The Objects for the Charity is established are: working towards the elimination of poverty in the worlds poorest countries and regions and relief of people in need of humanitarian assistance. 4.2 Nothing in these articles shall authorise an application of the property of the Charity for purposes which are not charitable in accordance with section 7 of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005 and in relation to the application of the Tax Act as defined by s831(2) Income and Corporation Taxes Act 1988.
