Description

The objects of the Association shall be: (1) To relieve the suffering of and distress of those with autism as well as their families and carers affected by the condition. and (2) To advance the education of the public in autism and thereby promote understanding of the condition. In furtherance thereof, but not otherwise, the Association shall seek: (a) to further research into the effectiveness of various therapies and interventions for the treatment of autism and disseminate, or arrange for the dissemination of, the useful results of such research. and (b) to develop and maintain partnerships with organisations in the community, voluntary, public and private sectors and any other bodies which may be of assistance to the group in pursuance of its objects.
