To advance knowledge and education, to promote racial harmony and to work towards the elimination of racial prejudice and discrimination through: 5.1 collection and analysis of standardised information about racial incidents. and 5.2 selective dissemination of findings derived from this information among agencies that serve black and minority ethnic communities. and 5.3 thereby assisting the said agencies to develop and implement best practice in the services they provide to black and minority ethnic communities within the Area of Benefit.
