What is an organisation identifier?
An organisation identifier is a unique piece of text that definitively identifies an organisation.
Examples include charity numbers and company numbers.
Identifiers are usually assigned by an external body like a regulator.
Findthatcharity uses the Org ID scheme to create identifiers.
GB-SC gives the scheme for this identifier (Scottish Charity Register), while SC033480 is the identifier for this organisation within the scheme.
Description
This clause shall be interpreted as if it incorporated an over-riding qualification limiting the powers of the company such that any activity which would otherwise be permitted by the terms of the clause may be carried on only if that activity furthers a purpose which is regarded as charitable for the purposed of Section 505 of the Income and Corporation Taxes Act 1988 (including any statutory amending or re-enactment for the time being in force). Subject to over-ridingqualification, the company's objects are :- (i) To relieve poverty by increasing the availability of, and facilitating access to, legal advice, assistance and representation geared to the needs of the citizens of West Dunbartonshire where such advice, assistance or representation could not readily be obtained by such persons elsewhere. (ii) To advance education by increasing knowledge and awareness of the law in relation to physical, mental and social welfare and all other fields in relation to which there appears, in the opinion of the directors, to be insufficient general knowledge and awareness of the law.
