Description

The purpose of Borderline is the advancement of health, and the relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage. Borderline works to: a) counter or alleviate the effects of the disadvantage b) assist individuals to overcome the disadvantage or recover from it c) generally improve the conditions of life of disadvantaged people. We do this through the provision of: a) Free and confidential support for adult residents of the Scottish Borders who are experiencing mental or emotional distress. b) Information on other sources of personal and social support in the Scottish Borders and elsewhere. c) Listening and support which is person-centred and non-judgemental which promotes mental wellbeing and improves self-esteem.
