Description
(1) To create and maintain local interest in the work of the Home and to secure for it increased support (2) To undertake the general administration of the Home. to supervise the Staff and the work of the Home. to promote the physical, social. and spiritual well-being of the residents. and to report annually to the Committee on Social Service (3) To meet monthly. and more frequently if necessary (a record of each Meeting to be kept in a Minute-Book), to check and pass for payment all accounts. to see that the Home is managed efficiently and economically. and to transmit the required monthly statement to the Secretary of the Committee on Social Service (4) To arrange a rota of visitation whereby two members shall visit and inspect the Home each month and report to the next Meeting of the Local Committee (5) To examine regularly the fabric and the furnishings, and to see that these are kept in good order. Repairs and other necessary expenditure shall be authorised by the local Committee at its ordinary monthly Meeting or at a Meeting specially called for the purpose. No expenUiture exceeding £20 shall be incurred without the consent of the Committee on Social Service, unless the matter be urgent, in which case the authority of the Convener of the Committee on Social Service shall be obtained
