Description
The group is established solely for charitable purposes within the area of Stranraer and District and its environs and in particular for the following objects : a) To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of the Stranraer and District area and Environs without distinction of political, religious or other opinions by giving Information, assistance, support and facilities to vulnerable families , and in particular, to those persons, plus parents, relatives and friends, who may in any way be affected by drug abuse. b) To work in partnership with local services, voluntary organisations and all inhabitants in a common effort to assist and rehabilitate said inhabitants. c) To advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare, for recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants. d) To secure the establishment, maintenance and management of the centre for the carrying out of the activities of the group in the furtherance of the above objects or any of them.
