Description
To acquire for the purpose of restoration and preservation by the Trust and thereafter retention, sale or lease, subject to such legally valid restrictions as will ensure the preservation thereof, the subjects known as and forming Belmont House, Belmont, Unst, Shetland and the lands pertaining thereto, thereby safeguarding and protecting an important example of the historical and architectural heritage of Shetland for the benefit of the public. Provided that nothing contained in this deed or in any amendment to this deed or supplementary deed executed by the Trustees shall authorise them to apply any part of the Trust Fund or the income therefrom otherwise than exclusively for purposes charitable in law
