Description
The Trustees shall hold the Trust Fund and the income of the Trust Fund for the purposes of Sections 505 and 506 of the Income and Corporation Taxes Act 1988 and that in such proportion and manner as the Trustees shall from time to time in their absolute discretion think fit. Without prejudice to the foregoing generality the Trustees shall be entitled to carry out any one or more of the following functions: (One) to promote the arts generally and to develop and improve the knowledge, understanding and practice of the arts through the recognition and development of the arts both in the United Kingdom and elsewhere. (Two) to promote and carry on research into methods of physical, mental and spiritual healing, treatment and rehabilitation of the sick, whether in mind or body and to publish the results of such research. (Three) to establish centres to prepare medical training programmes and to provide for the delivery and holding of lectures, exhibitions, meetings, classes and conferences. (Four) to provide or assist in the provision of hospitals, clinics, care centres and other establishments where the sick and elderly may be treated and cared for and to administer such hospitals, clinics, care centres and other establishments. (Five) to solicit and invite the provision of funds for all or any of the foregoing objects whether by sponsorship or any other means.
