Description

The Town Clerk submitted letter from Messrs. Leith & Bruce, Solicitors, Wick, along with a cheque for £800 in payment of a legacy bequeathed by the late Mrs Jessie Nicholson or Murray to the Council, the legacy to be known and administered as the 'William Murray Bequest', the interest of which is to be used for the deserving and necessitous poor of the Burgh of Wick.
