Description

I direct that the said dwellinghouse and contents so far as not specifically bequeathed shall be sold and the proceeds, after all closing legal expenses and Government Duty have been settled, paid over to Montrose Town Council to be held by them and invested and the free annual income therefrom shall be paid over equally among ten poor persons residing in Montrose who maybe either sex, provided they are above the age of sixty, and this bequest shall be known as 'The William Jack Bequest'.
