And as soon as reasonably practicable after the expiry of the foregoing liferent my trustees shall after allowing for appreciation and/or depreciation in value and the expenses of realization and division pay the net proceeds of said Eight thousand Pounds as follows:- (Primo) To The Provost, Magistrates and Councillors of the Royal Burgh of Forfar three eighths thereof to be held by them in Trust for payment of the Income thereof for Welfare Work among the elderly persons in Forfar (1) as regards two thirds of said three eighths in a Trust to be known as The Charles Fairweather Nicoll Bequest...(Secundo) To the Minster, Session Clerk and Clerk to the Congregational Board of The Lowson Memorial Church, Forfar and their successors in office the remaining five eighths of said net proceeds of said Eight Thousand Pounds to be held by them (One) to the extent of four-fifths thereof in Trust to be known as The Charles Fairweather Nicoll Bequest for payment annually of one-quarter of the Income of said four-fifths equally to and between The Sunday School, The Men’s Club and The Music Fund of the said Church and for payment annually of the remaining three-quarters of the Income of said four-fifths for the augmentation of Stipend payable to the minister for the time being of said Church.
