Description
The purposes of the Trust are, so far and so far only as the same are legally charitable, as follows:- (1) To finance, provide, equip and maintain and/or to co-operate with others in financing, providing, equipping and maintaining one or more kidney dialysis machines in Stornoway for the relief of any resident / in the Islands Area of the Western Isles who may be accepted for treatment by the Western Isles Health Board or such other body as may for the time being have responsibility for the operation of the said kidney dialysis machine(s) . (2)To finance, provide, equip and maintain and/or to co-operate with others in financing, equipping and maintaining comforts of any kind, and any expenses related thereto, for the benefit of patients undergoing dialysis within the said Islands Area (3) To make contributions to, or otherwise in any way t o support in any manner the Trustees in their discretion may consider proper, any other charitable organisation engaged in providing relief t o patients within the said Islands Area requiring dialysis. (4) To cooperate in any manner the Trustees in their discretion may consider proper with other societies, associations, trusts and local or national authorities or institutions in any undertaking or project which will advance the foregoing objects or any of them. (5) To do any other acts or things which are incidental or conducive to the proper furtherance or attainment of all or any of the foregoing purposes.
