Description
(1) To promote and assist the general good of all old people in the Burgh of Blairgowrie & Rattray and District by assisting the work of statutory authorities and voluntary organ1sations engaged in providing facillties for physical and mental recreation, developing physical improvement, furthering health, relieving poverty, distress or sickness or in pursuing any objects which now are or hereafter may be deemed by law to be charitable, (2) To promote and organise co-operation in the achievement of the above purposes and to that end bring together in Council representatives of the authorities and organisatiOns engaged in the furtherance of the above purposes or any of them within the city (burgh etc.) of (3) To promote and carry out, or assist in promoting end carrying out surveys relating to the needs of old people and arrange for forwarding to the proper authoritles and organisations the re1event facts regarding such cases and causes of distress as are within the power of those authoritie8 and organisations to alleviate, (4) To arrange and provide for or join in arranging and providing for the holding of exhibitions, meetings, lectures and classes in furtherance of the objects of the Committee or any of them, (5) To do 811 such things as may seem incidenta1 or conducive to the attainment of the above Objects or any of them,
