Description
The objects of the Trust shall be to - Make provision by means of a Trust Fund to be known as 'The Ben Wilson Trust Fund' to provide at the discretion of the Trustees gifts of food, appliances, clothing or money to the Widows and/or children of Shepherds who were engaged as Hill Shepherds in the Parish of Crawford and who were normally resident at the time of their deaths in the Parish of Crawford. In the case of a Widow assistance may be given for the rest of her natural life unless she remarries in which event she will no longer be eligible for assistance and in the case of a child assistance may be given up to his or her fifteenth birthday. In any case assistance will not be given as of a right but at the sole discretion of the Trustees, and no individual beneficiary will receive more than FIVE POUNDS or the value of Five Pounds in anyone year. Assistance may be given to Widows and/or Children where the husband or father has died before as well as after the date of these presents.
