Description
The Objects for which the Company is established are: (1) To carry on the business of a Housing Trust within the meaning of the Housing (Scotland) Act 1925, and to provide, construct or improve dwelling-homes for the working classes. and for these purposes and as incidental thereto- (2) To carry on the business of housing, town planning, and garden city making. (4) To sell, feu, exchange, lease, or otherwise deal with or dispose of any property of the Company, or any right over, or interest in the same, in such manner, upon such terms, and subject to such conditions, as the Company may think proper. (5) To erect, or procure the erection of buildings of any kind on any property of the Company or elsewhere, and to make and enter into contracts of every kind incidental thereto, and to pull down, repair, alter, or otherwise deal with any building thereon. (6) To hold and manage lands, buildings, and other property acquired or erected by the Company, or in which it is interested, and to collect the rents and income thereof, and pay all necessary outlays. (7) To develop, manage, improve, or otherwise turn to account any lands, buildings, and other property acquired or erected by the Company or in which the Company is interested, and in particular to layout and prepare lands for building purposes, construct, alter, pull down, rebuild, maintain, furnish, fit up, improve, and decorate buildings.
