Description

The Trust Fund shall be held by us as aforesaid as Trustees (we and our Successors as Trustees of the Trust hereby declared being hereinafter referred to as 'the Trustees') to pay or apply the Trust Fund for charitable purposes in connection with the advancement of, education and the relief of poverty in the manner hereinafter specified:- (First) the beneficiaries of the Trust Fund shall be girls and women of good character ordinarily resident in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland. (Second) the purposes of the Trust hereby constituted shall be to assist the beneficiaries to obtain general education and vocational training and thereby to assist the beneficiaries to become or to maintain themselves as self-supporting. (Third) such purposes may be achieved by (a) the making of grants or loans to or the sponsorship of beneficiaries and (b) the running of or the assistance in the running of educational and vocational training courses for the benefit of the beneficiaries.
