Description
To relieve poverty principally among the poor residents of the geographical area known as the Parish of Airth in the County of Stirlingshire, including the communities of South Alloa, Dunmore, Letham and outlying farms (hereinafter known as 'Airth'), through: i) the promotion of companies whose activities are directed towards the provision of paid employment to poor residents of Airth or towards relief from need among poor residents of Airth, the acquisition and holding of shares, stocks, debentures and other interests in companies whose activities are so directed and the provision of managerial, supervisory and consultancy services to or in respect of such companies. ii) the provision of advice and assistance with regard to the establishment and operation of enterprises whose activities are directed towards the aims referred to in sub-paragraph (i) above. iii) the promotion and implementation of schemes of community benefit of a charitable nature within Airth. iv) the provision of training opportunities. and v) the operation of workspace projects.
