Description

(a) To provide facilities centred in Tain for the screening, scanning or other examination for principally breast cancer, but also for other forms of cancer in people of all age groups. (b) To utilise the facilities established in persuance of Clause(a) for such other diagnostic services as may be possible as recommended by the Trustts medical advisers. (c) To co-operate and co-ordinate with the Tain Cancer Scanning Fund and all fund raising groups in the raising of funds to achieve the above services. (d) To purchase, lease or by any other means acquire and take options over any property whatever and any rights or privileges of any kind over or in respect of any property in connection with providing the services above specified. (e) To purchase, hire or otherwise pay for the use of principally breast cancer scanning equipment but also such other type of cancer scanning or cancer screening equipment as The Trust shall from time to time deem necessary. (f) To provide a fund for the maintenance, repair and otherwise keeping in good order of any equipment and property purchased, hired or otherwise made available to The Trust. (g) To invest and deal with moneys of The Trust under the charge of The Trustees but not immediately required in such manner as The Trustees may think fit. (h) To remunerate any person (other than The Trustees), firm or company rendering services to The Trust and to meet any other expenses properly incurred in the provision of the services outlined above. (i) To sell or otherwise dispose of any assets either heritable or moveable forming part of The Trust Fund being under the charge of The Trustees from time to time and on such terms and for such consideration as The Trustees may think fit. (j) To co-operate with all other groups with like objects in the interests of furthering preventive medicine.
