Description

To apply the income of the Trust Funds, or such as the Trustees in their sole discretion (providing always that any application is charitable) for patients convalescing from illness (but not for those in the throes of terminal illness) and for the improvement of their physical and mental health and improving the conditions of life of the people residing in the City of Dundee and its neighbourhood who are in unfortunate personal circumstances through indigence or by reason of ill-health which would help such persons back to employment. In this clause and throughout the Trust Constititution, the workd 'charitable' shall have the meaning ascribed to it for the purposes of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005 and also the Taxes Acts including any statutory amendment or re-enactment for the time being in force.
